On the 25th of February, 2025, The Immunization Plus and Malaria Progress by Accelerating Coverage and Transforming Services (The IMPACT PLUS PROJECT) stakeholders meeting was held at the council hall, Oredo, Secretariat, Benin City.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders, including religious leaders, community representatives, healthcare professionals, the LGA team, council management, and the Agency.

According to Mrs Okhueleigbe Philomena, the Assistant Health Education Officer (AHEO), Oredo LGA, who reported the event, the meeting was chaired by the Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA), Dr. O. Igbinigie who commended the Agency for the impactful initiative. The HOLGA also encouraged participants to pay rapt attention to the lectures.
A brief introduction of the IMPACT PLUS PROJECT was provided, and an in-depth lecture was delivered by Miss Osedebamen Ifada (TA to the Project Manager, IMPACT Project Edo State). She stated that the IMPACT PLUS project is a crucial initiative aimed at improving public health by enhancing immunization coverage and malaria control efforts.
The TA also emphasized the critical roles and responsibilities of LGA stakeholders in ensuring the success of the IMPACT project. She called on them to work together to protect the health and well-being of Oredo people, inform people about immunization campaigns, and encourage people to take advantage of these campaigns to safeguard their health and well-being.
The meeting concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, allowing participants to gain further clarity on their expected contributions.
