BIG CATCH-UP VACCINATION IN EDO.

It’s another beautiful morning in Edo State, and our health educators are out in the street corners, market places and wherever people are gathered, spreading the message about the importance of vaccinating eligible children aged 0-59 months.

As this Big Catch-Up (BCU) awareness campaign continues, our health workers are on the ground, actively vaccinating every eligible child to ensure their health and safety against vaccine preventable diseases.

his effort is taking place across all Edo State, with full collaboration from all sectors. Our EDSPHCDA team of supervisors, along with our technical partners, are working tirelessly to ensure that the routine immunization program runs smoothly, aiming for maximum immunization uptake ensuring no child is left behind.

Distance is no barrier to us, if there is a house and children living in that community, we will get there no matter how remote the community is, our goal is to ensure the eligible children get their essential vaccinations.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Local Government Chairmen, Local Health Authority, Community Leaders, Religious Leaders, Partners, Civil Society Organizations, the Media, and all other key stakeholders for their support.

Their participation in our evening review meetings across Edo is commendable, they joined us to plan for continuous improvement of the Big Catch-Up exercise.
